Danielle Garland (she/her) is a writer, science communicator, and artist from southern Appalachia who spends time thinking about value of grief, the intimacy of movement, and the fragility of narrative. Her work has been published or is upcoming in The Rumpus, Ninth Letter, The Inflectionist Review, Vagabond City Literature, Empty House Press, and others.
